Miss Tori found this door in her travels, painted it, sealed it, added legs and voilĂ : our new, rugged, chic coffee table.
Very easy to do. It literally took fifteen minutes to put together. First, buy these silver things at your local hardware store. You should actually screw them in to the thicker part of the wood, closer to the edge. We had to move ours after we already screwed in the legs. Minor glitch, but we got past it, no worries.
Next, screw on the legs. You'll need six, fifteen-inch wooden planks. Four in the corners, two in the middle because the door is loooonnngg.
Haaaay Tooorrr!
Then flip it over so the AWESOME side shows and you have yourself a pretty bitchin' coffee table, my friend.
Ta da!
Ugh, now back to homework. Until the next craft!
That. is. awesome. And I am definitely going to rip this off one day. I've definitely pondered the reuse of doors, but haven't yet implemented any of my ideas. This may end up on our porch (Although we've already got an "upcycled" bedframe-headboard as a table).
