Dog on Fabric

Scoobie never lets me get work done! She likes to think she's a very important part of the apron making process...

Stay tuned for the finished apron!

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Week!

Stitch, stitch, stitch, stitch..... Embroidering a donation tin cover for Family Dinner Mondays.

Satin stitch all the way! What will we cook this week?

Spring Can't Get Here Fast Enough!

Spring is just around the corner and I have apron fever! I made TWO aprons yesterday! TWO! They turned out beautifully and I can't wait to share my spring line with you all. Mr. Matt Rosadini was gracious enough to offer to photograph my work. What a peach! Stay tuned for the first few pieces in my line.

Oh and here's a picture of the first apron I ever made. I made it out of an old pillow case and I hand stitched the whole thing. Sorry the picture quality is so crappy; I took it on photobooth...

Also, Mother's Day is Sunday, May 9th! Place your apron orders now! Will work for pot! Just kidding, Mom...

(...but seriously, guys.)

My roommate is a rather talented lady. I just introduced her to upcycling and for her first project, she made us a new bathmat out of her old duvet cover and a carpet stabilizer.

Miss Tori is also an incredibly talented painter. You can follow her on her facebook page.

Presentation is Everything...

Krissy's wrapped present:

I bought the basket at a thrift store for $.50 and spray painted it white. Precious, no?

Spring Breeeeaaaaakkkk!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Blogger wont let me adequately express my SPRING BREAK excitement with NEARLY enough exclamation points. I have a list of crafts I want to get through this week and I cannot WAIT to sit on my butt and sew, sew, sew! I've made a couple fabric store trips and stocked up on pretty patterns.

Sigh. Fabric is my crack.

Happy Birthday, Katie Williams!

For my dear friend Katie's birthday, I made her a rice filled eye mask and house slippers.

The present's theme was relaxation. I threw in a tea cup and saucer and Katies favorite tea from Trader Joe's: Pomegranate White Tea! Happy 22nd, Miss Williams!
